Birthday

Today I celebrate my birthday! I had a great day. I went to church with my family. Since we are in Terre Haute, we went to Sacred Heart Church today. Very nice and simply! After church Greg & I took chicken to Maris, my sister-in-law, so she could make Tortilla soup!
We shopped at SAM'S for paper goods to take to Maria's so we could replenish what we use during Christmas. We then went to Honey Creek Mall so I could exchange some clothes.
We went to Maria's for my birthday dinner...WOW, Maria can sure make a very, very, very good Tortilla soup! After presents & cake we visited for a little and home to relax before going to bed! I had an awesome time with the family, as always!!!

Friday Night

Well, it is Friday! I had a very good week at work. I only work three day s a week, permanent part time I don't know how it could go bad. I am a new hire, so I have a 90-day probationer period. I get an evaluation every 30 days till I fulfill my 90 days! Of course I am doing great! Pat myself on the back....haha!
Fixing spaghetti & salad for dinner tonight! My son, Dominic, likes spaghetti although, I don't make meatball like Grammie Linda does. My spaghetti is ground turkey with garlic tomato sauce, boring! I wish I had chef abilities like my friend Rheagan. She is a awesome cook...never measures. Everything comes out wonderful and tastes delicious! Someday when I grow up I want to be a good cook like Grammie Linda and my friend Rheagan!
Tomorrow....I have to address Christmas cards, wrap presents, find a scarf and gloves to match my new coat and I'm sure the list will grow and the day goes on. Oh...I also have to find Texas cookie cutter ( see already addin' to the list)!!
Well gotta finish dinner......

Took Dominic to the doctor, because his left eye was red, itchy & little sore. The doctor said it is a bacterial infection and prescribed a antibiotic! The doctor suggested that he stay home, so we could get two doses of antibiotic into the eye! He goes back to school tomorrow!

I needed to do Christmas shopping, but the dang doctor's appt. was at noon! Pretty much screwed up my day! I will try to do the shopping tomorrow!

Snow....NOT!

Soooo...today it was suppose to snow! While at work it sputtered for about 30 seconds....duh! The weather forecast kinda freaked people out......I was scheduled for nine patients today & only four showed for their appointments. I think my patients thought it was gonna really snow so they didn't come in for their dental cleanings!

Houston received some snow, so Rico ( my son) said an inch was on the ground...yahoo! Schools released children early. What fun for the children!!

The low tonight is suppose to be 24 degrees...so I covered my plants! I don't want them to freeeeeeze!

Watched "The Proposal" tonight...it was funny! I like Sandra Bullock....she is a good actress! I wonder why she lives in Texas?

I am currently interested in finding a place to talk, rant & rave about my happenings in my life! Family, friends and work......

Started my career late in life but I do like what I am doing...I am a dental hygientist. I am in my third week of working for Communicare Health Centers http://www.communicaresa.org/home/index.php.

I currently work at the Frank Bryant Center in San Antonio, I will be transferred to a new clinic Kyle once it is built. I really enjoy the people I work with in the clinic. When the time comes I think it will be hard to leave!
